Child Safety Standards

Pvent has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These are our published standards for keeping children safe on Pvent.Report concerns: safety@pvent.app.

Version 1 · 26. Mai 2026

Zero tolerance

CSAE and CSAM are strictly prohibited. Violations are removed and reported.

16 or older

Pvent is for users aged 16+. Accounts found to belong to under-16s are removed.

We report

Confirmed CSAM is preserved and reported to law-enforcement authorities and hotlines.

1 · Our commitment

Pvent prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation in every form. We do not allow any content, conduct, or account that sexualises, endangers, or exploits a minor. This standard applies to every part of the service — events, profiles, posts, Q&A, and direct interactions between users.

We comply with the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and with applicable child-protection laws.

2 · Minimum age

Pvent is intended for users aged 16 and over. Age is confirmed at sign-up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we remove the account.

If you are under 18, you confirm you have your parent or guardian's permission to use Pvent.

3 · Prohibited conduct

The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate removal:

Creating, sharing, requesting, or possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM)

Sexualising, grooming, or soliciting a minor in any way

Sexually explicit conduct involving, or directed at, a minor

Trafficking, endangerment, or exploitation of a minor

Using Pvent to make contact with a minor for a sexual purpose

Promoting, normalising, or facilitating any of the above

4 · How to report a concern

Anyone can report a child-safety concern — you do not need an account.

In the app: open the three-dot menu on any event, post, profile, or message and choose “Report”.

By email: write to safety@pvent.app (or abuse@pvent.app) with a link or description.

Include what you saw and where, so our Trust & Safety team can act quickly.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (112 in the EU).

5 · How we respond

Child-safety reports are prioritised and escalated immediately — ahead of our standard 24-hour review window.

Violating content is removed and the responsible account is permanently terminated.

We preserve the relevant evidence as required by law.

Confirmed CSAM is reported to the competent law-enforcement authorities and child-protection hotlines (in Austria: the police / Bundeskriminalamt and Stopline.at; and to NCMEC where applicable).

We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities investigating child exploitation.

6 · Legal compliance

Pvent complies with all applicable child-protection laws, including Austrian criminal law (§ 207a StGB on the depiction of minors) and our obligations under the EU Digital Services Act. We report apparent offences to the competent regional and national authorities.

7 · Point of contact

Our Trust & Safety team is the designated contact for child-safety matters and is able to discuss our methods for preventing CSAM and our compliance with these standards.
